Brunello di Montalcino is the result of a careful selection of grapes, after a period of about three years of aging in barrels of Slavonian oak, refines and evolves its own characteristics in the bottle for a period of about 10-8 months. It shows an intense ruby red color, tending to garnet, characteristic aroma with notes of red berries, hints of underbrush, spices and vanilla. Bouquet broad and persistent velvety. It matches perfectly with ulterior very structured dishes, game, seasoned cheese and typical tuscan salami.It’s recommended a glass before any important decision.
The Rosso di Montalcino, a wine that comes from the same vineyards but has less aging than the Brunello, is obtained from a careful selection of wine to enhance the aromas of freshness and the typical taste of this wine. After aging for about 7 months in small oak barrels of capacity, and about 4 months in the bottle, it is ready for market.
It shows an intense and brilliant ruby red color, distinctive and large, winey, where you can recognize small fresh fruits. Good corco and structure, allows any combination, with both first and second Tuscan dishes, which with international cuisine.
